This movie Smile Bangla English Arabic Indo Subtitle (2022) – স্মাইল was very fun to watch! It was unsettling and uncomfortable and there were moments when I could feel myself getting anxious for the main character. The gore is decent, the tension is strong, and the actors do an incredible job. I would give it 5 stars if it ended in a more preferable way for me personally, but if you don’t like happy endings then consider this a 5 star review.
For those who are comparing this movie to It Follows, have you seen It Follows? The entities in both movies behave in almost entirely different ways, and one will kill you the moment it gets its hands on you, while the other seeks to draw out the psychological torture.
I am writing this just moments after finishing the movie and my opinion on it is that it was pretty good. Modern horror movies tend to rely heavily on jump-scares and not make a good story whereas this movie does the complete opposite. Each scare feels excellently set up and doesn’t happen for no reason.

As a person who still struggles with mental illness to this day, I warn anyone who suffers from the same thing to maybe sit this one out. I don’t want to spoil anything, but I will mention that the main plot is about suicide and trauma. I know the word about this movie being triggering is probably repetitive but it is no lie; this movie does have the power to cause some people to relapse and it should be taken very seriously.
The acting in this movie was phenomenal. Sosie Bacon gives an amazing performance that should be praised more in my opinion. When intense scenes occur, she never fails to sell them to the audience how horrified Rose is. Other actors like Kyle Gallner and Gillian Zinser also do a really good job with how they presented their characters. The arguments and climatic scenes are heightened by how amazing the actors perform. Perfect casting in my opinion.
Last I will talk about the messaging. I want to keep this spoiler free for anyone who plans on watching the movie. As I said before, the main theme is about trauma and revolves heavily around how to recover from it. My only issue without them portrayed it was with the ending. The last ten minutes of the movie are very intense but also contradictory to what the story was trying to tell. Not the best movie to watch if you are in recovery or in a bad place mentally.
In conclusion, I think that this movie was pretty good. Definitely not a masterpiece, but it has good qualities to it. It’s very unique and I like the creativity behind it. One thing I would like to mention before I end this is that it is pretty predictable at times. I am not good and figuring out what happens next in movies and TV shows but even I was able to guess what happened next. But if you set that aside, its a pretty good experience.
